Project Erasmus+ “My Art and Me”. 1st transnational meeting with 2 schools from Turkey (Denizli), one from Romania (Satu Mare), one from Greece (Kavala), one from Italy (Mazzarino, Sicily) and the host school - Agrupamento de Escolas de Paredes de Coura. 13th-17th November 2017
During the whole week, the 20 participant teachers held several working sessions to prepare the following meetings; they also engaged in many cultural activities. Among them:
- reception at the Town Hall;
- several workshops: ceramics with special needs students; typical corn biscuits with a 6th grade class; cooking vegetarian burgers at Quinta das Águias; a rehearsal of the school's choir;
- several visits: to the Cultural Centre (to know the educational projects of the theatre company “Comédias do Minho”); to Taboão river beach, where a famous summer music festival is held every year; to the Regional Museum of Paredes de Coura;
- a cultural dinner (codfish in the oven), with the participation of the Cultural Association of Padornelo; several group lunches and dinners to get to know Portuguese gastronomy and socializing;
- a bus tour throughout the "Alto Minho" region, with stops in Ponte de Lima (with a visit to the town's Toy Museum) and Viana do Castelo (with visits to Santa Luzia Sanctuary and the Costume Museum).
